Station Approach 1854 owes its name to the former Marfleet Railway Station which formed part of the Hull and Holderness Railway until it closed 50 years ago. The station was located just a stone’s throw away from the site of our exciting new build development.
The station originally opened in 1854 and incorporated the platform, stationmaster’s house, booking office and the village Post Office. As one of the quieter stations on the old Hull to Withernsea line, the station closed its passenger service in 1964.
Beau Developments’ five new-build townhouses have each been named after other stations along the track:
- Wilmington House
- Rye Hill House
- Ottringham House
- Winestead House
- Hollym Gate House
